Published Works and Services
Services for Writers & Clinicians
Work that lives at the edge of what language can hold.
I have spent years working alongside writers and clinicians doing some of the hardest work there is — writing through race, trauma, grief, identity, and healing; practicing in systems that were never designed to hold them. These services are for people who need a thinking partner with range. Someone who can read a poem and know what it is doing. Someone who understands why the page goes blank. Someone who has been in the room with both the clinical and the creative.
My lens is rooted in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, intersectional, and liberation-centered practice. Everything I offer reflects that.
For Writers
Cultural & trauma-informed feedback for writing that carries weight.
Cultural & Trauma-Informed Poetry Review
Starts at $70 Per Hour
Some writing requires more than technical feedback. Poetry that moves through race, identity, culture, trauma, grief, and healing needs a reader who understands what is at stake in the work. I offer written feedback rooted in cultural nuance, emotional impact, representation, and anti-oppressive frameworks — with attention to how language lands on the body, not just on the page.
Service Includes:
Initial poetry review and written feedback
One revision review (2 total rounds of reading)
Feedback through cultural, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed lenses
Written recommendations and reflections
Optional email follow-up or Zoom call for clarification questions
This service provides consultation and editorial feedback. It does not guarantee publication, endorsement, or approval of the work, and is not a substitute for developmental editing, copyediting, or psychotherapy.
Cultural & Trauma-Informed Manuscript Review

Writing Parts Coaching
Starts at $180 Per Hour/ Monthly Packages Available Upon Request
The obstacle is often not skill or time. It is the internal system: the part that says the work is not good enough, the part bracing for exposure, the part that has learned that being seen is not safe.
Using Internal Family Systems as a framework, this coaching is for writers — emerging and established — navigating fear, shame, perfectionism, and procrastination that is bigger than a productivity problem. This is an exploration of the inner landscape that shapes what you make, what you finish, and what you let yourself share with the world.
This is for you if:
You know what you want to write but cannot make yourself sit down to write it
You finish drafts and cannot bring yourself to share or submit them
You carry writing that feels too vulnerable, too political, or too personal to release
You have been told you are a gifted writer and do not believe it
ORDER TODAY! This guided journal is a profound companion for those navigating Internal Family Systems (IFS)-inspired psychedelic and ancestral medicine journeys. Whether used (on its own) or alongside IFS therapy, coaching, or integration sessions, it is a supportive tool for personal and professional growth. If you are a mental health professional, medicine facilitator, coach, or individual seeking healing, this journal offers invaluable guidance from beginning to end.
What sets this guide apart, however, is its commitment to inclusivity. It transcends the traditional IFS model by incorporating language and qualities of Self that honor the lived experiences of the Global Majority and other underrepresented groups. By embracing a broader perspective, this journal ensures that the healing process reflects and respects diverse cultural and personal narratives. To foster safer medicine experiences for all, it also includes conversation prompts and harm-reduction strategies, creating a foundation of trust and safety at every step of the journey.
You'll find thoughtful journal prompts within these pages. You’ll also discover spaces for mapping and tracking your parts, tools for deepening your connection to them, and sections for microdose tracking. This guide also provides structured support to help you identify triggers, track firefighter/reactive behaviors, and explore somatic sensations, fears, lessons, and hopes for the future.
This journal is designed to facilitate integration sessions and track progress over time, whether for personal use or in professional settings. Endorsed by IFS professionals and used by clients, the activities within are crafted to deepen your healing journey, allowing you to process medicine experiences through the lens of IFS with greater clarity and compassion. Consider this IFS-inspired companion a thoughtful gift for yourself or anyone seeking (a path toward) greater wholeness and self-energy.

I am thrilled to announce the release of my new book! tell me where it hurts is a tender, revealing collection of poems, meditations, and love notes. tasha invites readers to join her on this trajectory of honoring all that is hidden, forgotten, and silenced. Relationships and love form a core theme, with poems examining the complexity of connections with family, friends, partners, Self, and the Divine. The poet delves into the nuances of intimacy, the desire for community, and the challenges of communicating the unspoken and often— misunderstood. Through vivid imagery and powerful language, the poet captures the weight of intergenerational trauma. Her verses resonate with authenticity, revealing the truth about her experiences with grief, mental illness, liberation-based healing. Ultimately, this collection captures the importance of healing authentically and shows others how to do the same. Order from Amazon or your favorite small LGBTQIA-affirming or BIPOC-owned bookstore.

She Lives Her Truth is an anthology published by Great Canadian Women’s Publishing House. As a contributing author and the only Black woman featured, I know that my story will resonate and that readers will love what each author has to say about how they are currently living their truth.
“I hope my story will resonate, inspire, uplift, and give readers HOPE. I testify as a witness for myself and for others that it is possible to overcome seemingly insurmountable circumstances and to forge and possess a future which represents the best of who you are. The past does not dictate your future. You may not yet believe the truth of this powerful statement, so it bears repeating: the past does not dictate your future.”
— Tasha Hunter
What Children Remember is a personal account of surviving complex developmental trauma. This memoir poignantly sheds light on the virulent emotional effects of childhood abuse. Following the author through her years of struggling with issues of abandonment and post-traumatic stress, her story brings to life her search for meaning, acceptance, and love.
As a mental health advocate who now specializes in the treatment of PTSD, Tasha Hunter provides a unique perspective on the importance of building relationships with one’s self, with others, and with God. Her story validates the emotional pillars of faith and forgiveness in one’s lifelong recovery.
This true story is a modern-day fairy tale which movingly describes one seeker’s quest to overcome the Goliaths in her life in order to find her true purpose.
